Wordless Wednesday - Shelter Pets
Mom was asked to do some more pics for a special project for the rescue shelter we volunteer at. Her goal was to capture the pups personalities. Here's some of the sweet hearts she spent the day playing with.

Wordless Wednesday - Shelter Pets
Ok, not wordless, but words worth being shared.
HOME FOR CHRISTMAS: Black dogs have a hard time finding homes, so BARL is making a special Christmas plea. We are offering a reduced adoption donation fee of $40 'or best offer'. We do require a fenced yard, run, or outside kennel, unless the dog will be an inside dog, outside only on a leash. These dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartguard, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped. Give some love this Christmas season by inviting a new friend to join your family!
Visit us online at www.barl.net for more information. You can view all of our adoptable pets at petfinder.
Mom went yesterday to take Christmas pics of some of the black pups available. These guys were fun to work with and had tons of personality!! She also took some pics of some new babies. Aren't they adorable??

Wordless Wednesday - The Ghost of Christmas Past
We thought it'd be fun on Wordless Wednesday to share some of our past Christmas memories. Of course, that means me and Kudzu are not included, but what's a dog to do. We weren't here! We do plan to make the most of this Christmas season and provide plenty of pictures of us doing so along the way.
Another of our family's tradition - that I think is really cool - after the tree is decorated the day after Thanksgiving, the whole family spends the night in the living room camped out beneath it. This is one of the two legged kids very favorite traditions. I can't wait!!! Bring on Black Friday!!
Come back tomorrow as we spend the rest of the month pawticipating in Thankful Thursday's!!
We wuf vu!!

Preaching to the Choir and an Update on ME
What a true blessing you bloggie friends are! When I wrote Saturday that Mom was "putting down her camera", the feedback giving her some much needed encouragement and confidence was overwhelming.
It was not what we were looking for in that post, but is definitely what we needed - even though we didn't realize it at the time.
That same evening Mom took the human kids to a street festival. Several folks approached her about her photography.
Then she came home and we wrote Sunday's Sermon on Waiting on God. It wasn't until she read my Saturday post, your comments to it, and then Sunday's Sermon in that order that she realized that Word from God was intended for her! So she has a renewed enthusiasm and just maybe we'll get some new toys after all.
(She has a shoot this weekend where the family will be dressed in camo. Mom has some creative ideas and can't wait to do it! I'm going to go with her. I am after all her muse.)
We still haven't heard back from the vet about the results of the growth I had removed last week. I go back in on Friday to have the stitches removed. We are hoping for good news!! Mom says I've been a "clingy, grouch pot" since my surgery. I stay close to her and growl at anything/anybody else who approaches. But seriously, what if they step on my paw?? It hurts!! I'll go back to my cheerful (yet clingy) self as soon as I'm healed and not a minute before. So HUMPH!
We wuf vu all, bloggie furiends - the ones of you with fur and the ones without. God made you each special, and we are glad He brought you into our lives.
Was this suppose to be our weekly wordless post? Ooops! Well, we'll leave you with a picture of Kudzu - who is doing very well, by the way. He went with the humans and Scarlet on a therapy visit yesterday and LOVED all the attention.
