And what did you over-cook during the holidays??

So.. I promised you yesterday to share what happens when a dog stands too close to fire.  (I can't believe mom is making me share this with the world... how embarrassing!)  Butt for your viewing pleasure, here it is...

By the time mom got around to taking the picture, big sister had already brushed the black ashes from the "spot".  The smell hit before they saw me and instantly everyone knew just what had happened.  Fortunately I was smart enough to move before it burned skin.  A new lesson I have learned full well!  For you fellow Disney fans, mom says this brings a whole new meaning to "the smolder".  BOL!!

Stop by tomorrow to read our Sunday Sermon - 2012 "Year of the Dog".

  1. Ouch!!! That looks painful. I got close to one of those fire-things back in november. My nose got close and the Smell told me to back off. Guess you just approached it from the wrong end, Butty (lol)

    Happy New Year.

  5. We recently posted poor quality photos of Rusty's smoked tail from the gas space heater. He went back the next day and tried again. :(

Fortunately, he was fine. You were obviously not quite as fortunate. Be careful

    Happy New Year!
