Bigger Bed Back Story

Remember this picture from last week's Wordless Wednesday?

Lots of you said it was time for Mom to get me a bigger bed.

The truth is:  this isn't my bed at all.  It belongs to Joy and Ohno.

The truth is:  I want this bed for my own.  Most often before I get in it, I have to take one or both of them out of it.  Yes, I really do literally remove them from their comfy spot by gently lifting them in my mouth and putting them on the floor.  It may seem harsh, but it's a dog eat dog world!

Move over, Morkies.  I am  Boondocks.  Here me "AROOOF!"

P.S.  Mom is going to be working on a new background and header for us.  She wants a better template to make some of our blog features more accessible.  Keep an eye out for our new look coming soon

  1. So Boondocks, do you then allow Joy and Ohno to sleep in your bed? We knew you would be very gentle and remove them carefully:)

We are excited to see your new look. The Momster won't change ours because she is convinced she will mess it up.

  4. Boon I am a little surprised to hear that you would remove them so gently, what would happen if you just layed right down on top of them.

I mean seriously....I am pretty sure you wouldn't crush them but it sure would make them clear the bed when ever you came into the room from now on.

Although it is probably really cute, you lifting them out to move them.

Hey, My Vickie loves the header picture right now. You guys look goooood in the mountains.

    Love

  14. Hey Boondocks!
Wow, great job of asserting your authority...gently. BOL Even though the bed looks small, it must be just right to suit you and that's all that matters! Let those little ones get the new bed. :)

  15. at least you take the little ones out first - it would be terrible if you just curled up in the bed with them under you !

  16. This story cracks me up.

Duncan has a nice big canvass kennel in my bedroom, complete with an enormous dog bed, a blanket, the giant stuff Winnie the Pooh and a quilt my mother knitted for him. But one of our cats, Olive, has decided she really likes it in there so she'll go in, plop down, spread out and sleep all day. When it's time for bed Dunc will go to "his room" (as we call it), see Olive, turn and walk away to find a nice cozy spot on the floor. He refuses to disturb Olive.
