Word(less) Wednesday - RAIN!!

We had a 15 minute rain shower here the other day.  Rain has been a scarce commodity around these parts this year.  We dogs hardly knew what to think.  Neither did the two legged kids. 

We did learn though that Rain + Dry Ground = MUD!!! 

LOTS OF MUD!!!




Wet Stuff?  Falling from the sky??  AWESOME!!!







Scarlet was so excited she knocked Connor down.



The rest of the gang went to make sure he was okay.





I was too busy enjoying the mud to stop and see.




He must've been alright.  A few minutes later he was throwing mud balls at his sister.




Isaac got a bit dirty.  FUN!!!




Cosmo likes the mud stuff too!





Have I mentioned that I really LOVE mud???!!!






These guys would rather watch than join in.  Mom says they're smart.  I think they're wimps!





 Oh, and mom says I have to tell you that our yard is mostly grass.  This is just the area we keep dug up - so we can have MUD!!!!

    MUD sounds like FUN! How come when it's spelled backwards, it's spelled DUM?!

    What fun! I love Connor's sister with her wellies keeping the mud from her toes. Everyone (human and canine) needs to spend a little time in the mud.

    Wow, what a fun, fun, fun time!! I'd love to do that. I don't know about your place, but here at mine, we'd all have the garden hose turned on us before getting back inside! That's fun too!
