Orijen Dog Food Review

We wagged our tails with excitement when none other than world famous, Mr. Chewy asked us to take part in another review.  This time we were offered a bag of Orijen Dog Food if we'd give our opinion of the product.

You guys know how I am with food - bring it on!!  WHOOP WHOOP!  I had no problem agreeing to test it.

When it arrived at our house - promptly two days after being ordered (props to Mr. Chewy for his swiftness), I was eager to check it out.  Mom debated on which of us dogs to use as a test subject.  Can you imagine such a silly thing??  I quickly worked my wiles and convinced her that the only logical choice was ME... after all, I'm young and healthy.  I mean if the food was really that much better, what could it do to improve the health of a buff, young stud such as myself???

I trembled with enthusiasm as my bowl was prepared.  The aroma was to die for.  I quickly scarfed down my serving and did not hesitate to ask for more - which the humans denied... sheesh.

The five pound bag only lasted me about as many days.  Mom says she doesn't feel like it was enough time to truly reveal the true worth of the food, but the most evident difference she could tell when I ate it was in my appearance.  She says my coat glowed like angels wings.

I give it four paws up for taste and will add a tail up for the shine it provided my coat... I mean, come on, the girls were swooning.  Mom says the only downside to Orijen is the price.  Perhaps if I was an only child..urgh dog.. we'd be able to swing it.  But feeding the masses that we provide for, it is not a logical long term option for our family.

Thanks to Mr. Chewy for allowing us to pawticipate.  We love, love, love trying new things!!

Mr. Chewy - It's What's for Dinner :-)

So a couple of weeks ago, we received a very nice email from Mr. Chewy asking if we would be interested in testing out and reviewing their website in exchange for $50 worth of products.  Boy, howdy, did someone say free food???  Yes, indeed!  We were interested.

Mom says feeding seven dogs isn't always convenient... especially when five of them are rather large dogs like we Golden Retrievers are.  I don't know what all the fuss is about.  Seems simple enough to me.  They walk into the laundry room, scoop our food into our bowls, and then we do the rest.  She said something about cost and getting those big bags of food to and from the car and to and from the house.  I don't know what she means by all that because the food always seems to just magically appear.  Mom said after ordering from Mr. Chewy, that sure seemed like the case.  She made the order one evening and then three days later a nice man appeared with food for us.  She also said that because the prices are lower on Mr. Chewy's site, she was able to choose a better quality food that is designed for dogs like Kudzu who are prone to joint disorders.  We can't wait to see if it makes a difference in how he feels.

Did we mention we got treats too??  Oh, yeah, we got treats!  Bil-Jac is our favorite!  Since we are 90 miles away from the closest retailer that sell Bil-Jac, we thought it was pretty awesome for it to arrive on our door steps.

In addition to dog food and treats and potty supplies, they also have products for C-A-T-S.  (Shhh, don't tell.  Mom didn't order the cats anything and it's suppose to stay a secret!)

Mr. Chewy also carries flea and tick protection.  And shipping is always free on orders of $49 or more.

Mom gives our shopping experience with Mr. Chewy two thumbs way up.  I'll have to give 'em four paws, cause well, I don't have thumbs.

Mr. Chewy also hosts an impressive referral system for their customers.  It's a win/win thing.  You can find more information about it on their website or click HERE.

We are now loyal Mr. Chewy customers.  We hope you'll check 'em out too!!
