Thankful Thursday - And they call it puppy love...

As strange as it may be - it all started with a dog.  Well, there was a mutual attraction too, but the first time Mom met Dad, he stood at the back of her truck petting her dog, Rowdy.  They spent four hours together that first night and were inseparable ever after.  Four months later they were married on Mom's lunch break.  Fourteen years later, here we are.

Mom and Dad have a love story that is better than any you see depicted in movies.  What they have is real and beautiful.  It hasn't always been easy, but it's always been worth it.

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!  We are thankful for the love and life God has blessed you both with.

A Thankful Heart is a Happy Heart

So we don't usually pawticipate in Thankful Thursdays,  but since Thanksgiving is later this month, we wanted to spend a little time giving a shout out about the blessings in our lives!

1.  We are most thankful for a home with loving peoples:  mom and dad who provide for us and love us, and the four kids who feed us and keep us entertained.

2.  We are thankful that we are a large pack: 7 dogs and 6 humans.  There is always someone to play with.

3.  We are thankful for dog treats:  Our favorite is Cesar's Grilled Chicken.  We will do all kinds of silly things just to get one.
