Wordless Wednesday - Shelter Pets

Ok, not wordless, but words worth being shared.

HOME FOR CHRISTMAS: Black dogs have a hard time finding homes, so BARL is making a special Christmas plea. We are offering a reduced adoption donation fee of $40 'or best offer'. We do require a fenced yard, run, or outside kennel, unless the dog will be an inside dog, outside only on a leash. These dogs are spayed/neutered, current on heartguard, current on all vaccinations, and microchipped.  Give some love this Christmas season by inviting a new friend to join your family!

Visit us online at www.barl.net for more information.  You can view all of our adoptable pets at petfinder.

Mom went yesterday to take Christmas pics of some of the black pups available.  These guys were fun to work with and had tons of personality!!  She also took some pics of some new babies.  Aren't they adorable??

Shania is a husky/lab mix.  She is bi-eyed (having one brown and one blue eye).

Hennessey was our playful pup of the day.  All this happy elf wanted to do was jump for joy!

Wrigley hopes his stocking is filled with a family for Christmas.

Zetus was all tangled up in the tinsel knowing she'd make the perfect gift this holiday season!

Look at those blue eyes.  Mom's heart was melted.

We called this one Prancer.  He's getting his reindeer game on!

Sharing secrets.

This guy really knows how to command attention!

This is Mary Kay.

She's begging for a home for Christmas!

What's cuter than puppies? ME!!!

Well, after just three weeks, Mom has abandoned her dream of becoming a professional photographer.  (She says it's pretty sad when you can't give it away!)  That's fine with us.  We get more Mommy time.  What we do not like is that she is regularly taking pictures for the animal shelter where we volunteer.  I do not like at all that she plays with all those cute, little puppies and more than that - she acts like she really enjoys it.

I have to admit some of those pups are just too adorable, but I still prefer being Mom's main photography subject.  I am after all the best model ever.

Tux

Tux - Mom says he'd have come home with us if she'd not set the limit for our home as NO MORE critters.  Thank goodness,  mom observes some boundaries!!!

Blitz and Coach

We weren't sure what Blitz told Coach, but it must've been really funny stuff!

Mom was mesmerized by Blitz's hazel eyes.
